Leon Finguerra, Founder
Lee established our sister company (CIS) in 1975 and then HVAC Inc. in 1995. He grew the company from 2 men to a serious player in the Downstate HVAC market. Lee is still very much active in daily operations, where he is a constant source of guidance and inspiration. He attended City College of NY, where he graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Gusuma Sukhapiwatana, President
Gusuma started working for HVAC, Inc. in 2000. She acquired 100% ownership of the company in 2011 and provided the financing for a rapid expansion of operations. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in biomedical sciences from the prestigious Chulalongkorn University of Thailand and C.W. Post University. She provides a unique analytical approach to the management of the organization and is an in-house risk analysis expert.
Mark Finguerra, Chief Financial Officer
Mark has more than 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Mark manages all corporate finances. He established and maintains our working capital lines with banks and credit lines with vendors. Primary contact for all unions. He is a LEED AP and is also certified by Johnson Controls. Mark earned a BS degree in biochemistry from Hofstra University.
James Gerardi, Chief Operations Officer
James has been working in commercial HVAC for 30 years. His focus has been managing the full range of commercial HVAC projects in both the public and private sectors. His areas of expertise include cogeneration, boilers, chillers and build-out projects.
Brian Salzano, Vice President, Systems
Brian has been employed in commercial HVAC for 34 years. He is a LEED AP and holds numerous certifications from Johnson Controls. Brian manages the Building Automation division of the company. He attended Emerson College, where he graduated with a BS in Communications.
Don Held, Senior Project Manager
Don has 30 years of systems installations and project management experience in the HVAC industry. His certifications include: NYC fire guard torch use, NYC class 1 structural welding, Mills and HB Smith Boilers, Mitsubishi equipment, laser shaft alignment and both 10 & 30 hour OSHA cards. Don is a Millwright journeyman with broad experience in complex cogeneration systems, rigging and field machining.
